How does Prepware compare to other food storage?
Most food storage gets you part of the way there.
Plastic is cheap and convenient, but it warps in the oven, gets brittle in the freezer, and can leach chemicals when heated.
Glass is microwave and oven safe with care, but it's heavy, breakable, and fragile in the freezer.

Yes, high-grade stainless steel is microwave safe. Remove the glass lid before microwaving then place the container in. It heats evenly and safely. We know it feels counterintuitive but high-grade stainless steel is the exception. Makes sense once you've done it the first time.
Does any plastic touch my food?
No. The body is high-grade stainless steel. The lid is glass with a silicone seal. The only materials in contact with your food are stainless steel or glass -- no plastic, no leaching, no compromise.

Can Prepware go straight from the fridge to the oven?
Yes. Fridge to oven is perfectly fine. We'd recommend letting it come to room temperature before moving from freezer to oven -- the same approach you'd take with any quality cookware.
Will it leak in a bag or lunchbox?
No. The glass lid sits on a silicone seal that creates a firm airtight close. It's designed for transport as well as storage -- school lunchboxes, work bags, and picnics are all fine.

Because real kitchens need range. The 650ml small is perfect for prepped snacks or a single portion. The 1200ml medium handles most meal prep. The 2200ml large is for batch cooking, big salads, or storing a whole prepared meal.

Do I need Crop DeTox to use Prepware?
